Stephen will guide a practice based in Buddhist tradition to awaken Pure Awareness beyond form.  This opens the door to the realization that you all of us and everything that happens are expressions of that Pure Awareness itself.

This perfect state has many names in different cultures:

  • Buddha nature

  • The Self, Paratman / Parabrahnam

  • Christ consciousness

  • Shiva being

  • The I Am

All of which are simply pointing back to your true self.

Meet Your Compassionate Teachers


Kevin Schoeninger
Non-Dual Mind-Body Teacher, Author

Kevin Schoeninger is an author and teacher of Mind-Body training. In 1984, he had a profound experience of still, silent, spacious, nondual awareness on a backpacking trip through the wilderness that set him on a lifelong quest exploring higher states of consciousness.

 

This quest led him to study T'ai Chi, Qigong, mindfulness, meditation, Centering Prayer, Kriya Yoga, Holy Fire Reiki, and other mind-body training techniques.

 

Kevin graduated from Villanova University in 1986 with a Masters degree in Philosophy, and is Certified as a Personal Trainer, Life Coach, Qigong Meditation Master Instructor, and Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master Teacher.

He has been writing about and teaching these techniques for over 35 years. His latest books are Clear Quiet Mind and Raising Our Vibration: A Guide to Subtle Energy Meditation, which he co-wrote with Stephen Altair. In this retreat, Kevin will guide Qigong practices to awaken inner body awareness and facilitate smooth, integrated, subtle energy flow.


Stephen Altair
Author, Teacher of Light Body Awakening

Stephen is an author and teacher of Light Body Awakening, including Mindfulness and Meditation.

 

At a very early age, Stephen had a dream of being a monk and experiencing the cosmic sound and light, an experience which fostered his awakening into self-awareness and a curiosity and deep love for all spiritual paths.  This curiosity led him to study T'ai Chi, Qigong, meditation, Kriya Yoga, Reiki, and other mind-body training techniques.

 

Stephen graduated from Auckland and Otago University with degrees in Education and Business and was Certified as a Counsellor with the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of New South Wales in Australia.

 

He has been writing and teaching meditation techniques for over 30 years. His latest book are Diary of a Yogi and Raising Our Vibration: A

Guide to Subtle Energy Meditation, which he co-wrote with Kevin Schoeninger. In this retreat, Stephen will guide a practice to deepen Awareness and awaken the realization that all of us and everything that happens are expressions of Awareness itself.


GP Walsh
Spiritual Teacher, Creator of Inner Reconciliation

GP's spiritual journey has been anything but traditional. From his earliest childhood questioning, to his wanting to end it all, to his stunning, unsought transformation at the age of 19, his natural desire to know and understand truth has been the invisible hand guiding his life.

But he has also had a rich and diverse life. He has been a musician (a pianist, composer and songwriter), a voice over talent for radio, TV and even video games, a computer systems architect and an entrepreneur, before devoting himself full time to spiritual teaching.

 

But it hasn't all been glamorous. When younger, the single father of two young sons he was a mailman, worked on shipping docks, in warehouses, as a janitor, a cook in a day care center, a roofer, endless odd jobs (sometimes 3 at once) anything he needed to do in order to get by and take care of his children. 

He comes to the role of elder spiritual guide full of humanity, humility and a life that has truly walked the talk.
